Apple TV+ recently announced that its longest-running comedy, Mythic Quest, has been cancelled. But the worse, some good news was thrown in. Apple gave the creative team its blessing to fix the finale for a better ending, but it introduced George Lucas’s Yuke issue.
Revised Mythic Quest finale is now available while the original is missing
Star Wars creator George Lucas is well known for his enjoyment in revising his films over the years.
It’s been a while since this happened, but the original Star Wars trilogy has undergone multiple changes over time.
The existence of these changes may be indisputable in their own right. Fans have generally welcomed Lucas’ creative efforts to some extent.
The problem is that once Lucas makes Star Wars revisions it makes access to older versions extremely difficult.
And it appears that Apple follows the same trend in its quest for mythology.

Changes are not important as I can tell. The endings are mainly a slightly different summary, with fewer open endings.
However, there is no way to rewatch the original back and re-watch it, so we cannot make a clear comment on the changes.
In George Lucas Fashion, now that the finale has been updated, Apple TV+ no longer offers a way to watch the original episode.
Does this cause Star Wars-level disappointment from fans? It’s unlikely. However, it is worth noting that Mythic Quest Finale has changed and the original version is gone.
Hopefully it’s still available so that fans can experience both versions. But, at least for now, that’s not happening.
